About This Role
We're looking for an experienced animator who can create any kind of animation for websites and landing pages. You'll design everything from subtle micro-interactions to complex animations and page flows.
Key Responsibilities
- Create animations for websites and landing pages
- Design micro-interactions and UI animations
- Develop complex animations and page flows
- Lead animation projects from concept to delivery
- Work with After Effects, Figma, and other animation tools
- Export and optimize animations for web (Lottie, SVG, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers and developers
- Mentor junior animators on techniques and best practices
- Establish animation standards for projects
- Stay updated with animation trends and tools
Requirements
- 3-10 years of professional animation experience
- Expert knowledge of animation tools (After Effects, Principle, etc.)
- Stellar portfolio showcasing diverse animation work
- Experience creating animations for websites and digital products
- Ability to create any kind of animation (micro to complex)
- Deep understanding of animation principles
- Experience with web-ready animation formats (Lottie, SVG)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience training and mentoring animators
- Portfolio of personal animation projects
- High ownership and creative problem-solving
- Attention to detail and timing
Nice to Have
- Experience with code-based animations (GSAP, Framer Motion)
- Knowledge of 3D animation tools
- Understanding of web performance constraints
- Familiarity with motion design for mobile apps
- Experience with interactive animations
- Knowledge of accessibility in motion design
